Hamilton Brooke and TDR partnered with Marine & General, Guernsey’s complete boatyard and chandlery, to modernise their digital presence and better showcase the scale and breadth of their offering.

With a long-established reputation across marine services, retail, and boatyard operations, Marine & General required a website that was clear, engaging, and capable of presenting a complex business in a simple and accessible way. The objective was to create a platform that supported both existing customers and new audiences, while reflecting the professionalism and expertise of the team.

We designed and developed a bespoke website using Astro and Sanity, delivering a fast, high-performance experience with a clear structure and intuitive navigation. A key feature of the site is a 360 degree interactive map of the premises, allowing visitors to explore the boatyard and facilities virtually and gain a better understanding of the services available on site.

To support the launch, we delivered a full programme of corporate and project photography, capturing the people, facilities, and day-to-day operations behind the business. This was complemented by video production, created to showcase the scale of the site, the variety of services offered, and the expertise of the Marine & General team.

We also assisted with social media content creation and posting, using photography and video to build a consistent and engaging presence across key platforms and extend the reach of the new website.

Together, these elements have given Marine & General a modern, future-ready digital platform, reinforcing their position as Guernsey’s complete boatyard and chandlery, with a digital presence that matches the scale and capability of their operation.
