If there’s a change in your market, it pays to act quickly

When another retailer withdrew from the market, Guernsey Electricity wanted to reassure islanders that they still had the choice to buy home electricals on island.

It doesn’t take long for customers to learn new buying behaviours so we acted quickly, creating a new campaign that summed up why Guernsey Electricity should be 1st choice for home entertainment and household appliances.

Bright colours were mixed with big bold messages to communicate the range of products and brands, and all of the collateral signs off with the strong strapline “In store, in stock and in your home today!” emphasising the huge range kept in stock. Just what people need to know if their cooker or washer has broken down.

The campaign, which included Press, POS, Social media posts, animations and radio was turned very quickly so Guernsey Electricity could strike while the (very reasonably priced) iron was hot!
